Linz Airport registers record in airfreight
In 2008 the Blue Danube Airport Linz registered the biggest cargo volume in its history. With 36,540 tons last year’s figure was exceeded by 5.4 per cent. The cargo handled by the airport in the capital of Upper Austria on its own rose 14.3 per cent to 26,536 tons. “We were able to further expand our position as Austria’s biggest regional cargo airport”, Gerhard Kunesch, Managing Director, commented on the development.
