Logwin enters market in Bulgaria

New national company of Logwin in Bulgaria offers services for transport and warehousing logistics:

The international logistics service provider Logwin is expanding its network of locations in Eastern Europe. The company has had its own national organization in Bulgaria since 20 June, when it opened its first location in the country’s capital Sofia in the logistics center at Sofia Airport Center. From there Logwin organizes not only national and international land transportation from Sofia but also warehousing, value-added services as well as air and sea freight. Ingo Schlieper, Country Manager at the Bulgarian national company has assumed responsibility for managing the location together with Country Manager Mario Aschbacher.

According to Logwin Bulgaria’s economy is experiencing an economic upswing. The retail trade in the EU member state in particular is benefiting from increased domestic demand. "We have already succeeded in acquiring customers from the retail sector," says Mario Aschbacher.

"Economic growth will continue to have a positive effect on our business." The logistics service provider is also confident of obtaining further contracts from the automotive sector. Mario Aschbacher explains, "Our reliable just-in-time service supplies repair shop customers with spare parts at exactly the point in time when they are needed. This reduces downtimes to a minimum."

Logwin has been operating in Eastern and Southern Europe since the 1990s and has been constantly extending its network of locations in the region. The establishment of a national company in Serbia and the opening of a further location in Romania are the most recent examples of this development.
