Eva Air celebrates 20-years-jubilee

Private Taiwanese airline Eva Air has been flying Vienna-Bangkok-Taipei for two decades:

 Eva Air, the private Taiwanese airline is celebrating its 20-years-jubilee these days. On 1 July 1991 the first Boeing 767-300ER took off in Taipei. Since then the enterprise has been growing continuously and is today calling 58 destinations on four continents (Asia, Australia, Europe and America) with 56 aircraft.

The 20-years-jubilee will also be celebrated in Vienna. Austria’s capital was the first destination in Europe to be served within the route network of Eva Air. Since the first flight on 11 November 1991 the airline has been serving the route from Vienna via Bangkok to Taipei without any breaks. Three flights are currently on the schedule per week – Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. The service is operated with an Airbus A330-200 long distance jet. Take-off is scheduled for 7.35 pm in Vienna with arrival the next day in Bangkok at 11 am and 5.05 pm in Taipei.
