Raben Group opens new cross-dock warehouse in Hungary

New cross-dock warehouse of Raben Logistics in Dunaharaszti near Budapest allows for fast transhipment
 
The Raben Group has a new transhipment facility in Hungary. The building erected in Dunaharaszti near Budapest, built with an investment of more than EUR 2 million, has recently started operation. The area of the cross-dock platform is 4,104 m², where 42 docking gates are installed to support cargo loading and unloading operations.
 
“In the new cross-dock warehouse it is possible to meet the requirements of distribution even better, which means efficient and fast unloading of goods thanks to a transparent, carefully planned storage facility system. The high number of docking gates enables us to load and unload a large number of trucks simultaneously.” – said Szabolcs Czifrik, the Managing Director of Raben Trans European Hungary Kft. “It is worth mentioning that we may expect some more investment of Raben Group in Hungary in the next years” – he adds.
 
The head office of the Raben companies in Hungary has been located in Dunaharaszti since the end of May, 2012. Currently Raben Trans European Hungary offers its Customers 62,500 m² storage capacity and 400 qualified employees in 14 locations.
