M. Preymesser group urges for development of the Danube

Industrial logistician Michael Preymesser requires politics to take action to improve traffic infrastructure in central and eastern Europe:

"There are lacks in the development of railways, waterways and the main routes for road traffic, which need to be eliminated urgently. Otherwise the region Central Europe will be de-industrialised sooner or later." These were the words that Michael Preymesser used recently in a speech in Linz to push politicians in charge to improve the traffic infrastructure in central and eastern Europe.

The entrepreneur ascribes great significance to the development of the Danube on this occasion. Michael Preymesser is heading the M. Preymesser group. The medium-sized family enterprise based in Neutraubling, southern Germany, attends to a select circle of customers. Supplying services in the segments industrial logistics, automotive logistics, storage & forwarding and river shipping 2,500 employees working at branches in Germany, Austria, UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria generated a turnover at about EUR 500 million in the year 2010. In Austria M. Preymesser group is holding majority stakes in the companies Industrie-Logistik-Linz and Speditionsservice Ranshofen.
