The Carinthian family enterprise based in Arnoldstein, close to the Italian border, celebrated its 50-years jubilee in 2012. According to the definition of managing director Ekkehard Oliver Mauerer reliability, adherence to schedule, friendliness, fairness, flexibility, performance and know how are the most important attributes for customer care. Quality is the top priority of their daily business. In line with that they are striving for innovations, the implementation of investments and new challenges.
 
The forwarding company Maurer Speditions- und Transportges.m.b.H. has 28 employees and operates in the sectors forwarding, transport and truck fuel station. Their own fleet consisting of 15 trucks, 18 trailers and a tank truck – complemented by several subfreighters – handles about 5,000 transport orders per year. The warehouse has 800 m² covered space. In addition, the free storage area has 20,000 m² area. The most important markets of the Maurer forwarding company are Austria, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and Eastern Europe.
