M&M Militzer & Münch expanding to Tajikistan

Completion of Central Asian network with M&M

M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG headquartered in St. Gallen (Switzerland) has established a new company in Tajikistan. Thus the international provider of logistics services completes the network of their own national companies in Central Asia. M&M Militzer & Münch Tajikistan started operating in the mid of August. The company is based in the capital Dushanbe and has a branch in Khujand, the country’s second-largest city.

Militzer & Münch has been represented in Tajikistan since the early 1990es – by a delegation, controlled by Militzer & Münch in Uzbekistan. “After the political situation in Tajikistan has now become stable and the nation has started to develop economically, we see a large potential in particular in the field of project logistics, air cargo and land transportation“, says Ewald Kaiser, Chief Executive Officer of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG.

Currently ten persons are employed by Militzer & Münch in Tajikistan. Staff is planned to be increased shortly. “The new company allows us to handle all operative processes autonomously. We need no more local sub-operators“, explains Aziz Sharipov, Managing Director of M&M Militzer & Münch Tajikistan. The medium term target of the transport and logistics service provider is to expand the service portfolio in Tajikistan.
