Modified security fees with Hapag-Lloyd
Hapag-Lloyd shipping line decides to slightly increase Carrier Security Fee Due to the recently considerably increased expenditures for measures to maintain an ideal security standard the Hapag-Lloyd container shipping company considers necessary a revision of the security fees. In a press release the Management announces an increase of the Carrier Security Fee. The measure will take effect from 1 March 2010 for all trades. The terminal security fee will be dealt with separately. Hapag-Lloyd increases the Carrier Security Fee according to a two part-scheme. Invoices with USD prices will be increased by USD 10 per container as of March. As for EUR ocean freights a surcharge of EUR 8 per container will be introduced. |
