Montan forwarding company presents new container prototype

Montan Spedition recommends 30’ canvas covered containers as an alternative to conventional trucks:

The container fleet of the Montan forwarding company based in Kapfenberg, Styria, was enlarged with an innovative container prototype. Their latest acquisition is a 30’ canvas covered container. The box named UNI container was built with the support of state-of-the-art discovery from material research, using innovative construction methods. The Transsystems company developed this container, supported by means of the Styrian economy promotion institute SFG (Steirische Wirtschaftsförderung).

The new container prototype has – apart from the obligatory rear door also doors that can be fully opened on both sides. Moreover the top can be fully opened, thus allowing for top loading and unloading. The UNI container was designed as an alternative of conventional trucks. Thanks to doors on all sides, managing director Ingrid Glauninger sees a universal usability of the containers. The box might also be loaded with loose raw material.
