New container line from the northern Adriatic Sea to India

Liner service of Sermar Line and SCI offer regular departures from Venice, Koper and Ravenna to India:

A new liner service for cargo traffic between India and central/eastern Europe on the seaway has come to life. The shipping lines Sermar Line and Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) are about to launch a regular container service these days. The boxes cover the distance from India to Port Said in Egypt v. v. on SCI’s vessels. The segment from Port Said to the Seaports in the northern Adriatic Sea and return is served by Sermar Line.

Departing from Venice, the new India liner service calls the following ports: Koper, Ravenna, Port Said, Salalah (Oman), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Nava Sheva and Mundra. Transport time from Italy and Slovenia to India is 21 to 23 days. The return course takes 16 to 18 days.
