New contracts for SDV

SDV is awarded a four-year contract with Thales Alenia Space and a three-year contract with CLARINS.

Thales Alenia Space has awarded a SDV a four-year contract to transport satellites from assembling facilities in France and Italy to the Kourou launch site in French Guiana, the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, as well as the Vandenberg satellite launch centre in California and the Xi Chang one in China.

The logistics for these exclusive and high-value products is characterised by many specific constraints, in addition to strict delivery deadlines and a high level of confidentiality. SDV mobilises a fully dedicated organisation for each shipment. Containers, purpose-designed for the chosen aircraft type, are conveyed by a team of specialists whose mission is completed at the time of the final customer handover.

In other news, French cosmetics company CLARINS has awarded SDV a three-year contract to provide local logistics and distribution services to CLARINS Hong Kong. SDV’s newly refurbished warehouse in Kwai Chung now features 8,000 m² that complies with high safety and security standards, which is dedicated to this new customer.
