New major order for the Panalpina project division

Japanese Chiyoda Corporation puts Panprojects in charge of large-scale offshore transport

Panprojects, the project division of the Panalpina Group, announces the acquisition of a new large-scale order. Japan’s leading construction company, the Chiyoda Corporation, put the freight forwarder in charge of an offshore transport project with approximately 50.000 freight tons of cargo. The starting points for these transports are located in Europe and in the United States of America. The cargo will be used for a coker unit for the Jubail Export Refinery Project in Saudi Arabia (also known as JED Project).

The project will start this year and last until the end of 2012. Panprojects will provide their own recourses in the location in Bremen and Tokyo as well as on site in the Chiyoda office for the whole contract period. This will guarantee seamless service for the duration of the project, it says in a Panalpina Group press release.
