New management board for Seaports of Niedersachen GmbH

Seaports of Niedersachsen: Inke Onnen-Lübben becomes spokeswoman of the board; Felix Jahn to support her as second director
 
Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH, the port marketing company of the country and the private port industry of Lower Saxony, has a new management board. In their latest meeting the supervisory board has decided to appoint Inke Onnen-Lübben (32) as the new Spokeswoman of the management board of Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH. Felix Jahn (35) becomes the second director. The previous managing director Andreas Bullwinkel (56) leaves the company as per September 30, 2013 and will assume the management of the marketing company of the Wilhelmshaven container terminal.
 
Dr. Andreas Schmidt, chairman of the supervisory board says “Inke Onnen-Lübben who will assume the management of the Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH has international experience and a big network of contacts.“ Appointing Felix Jahn as second director shall ensure interlinkage of the marketing company and AG Niedersächsische Seehäfen, founded earlier this year, serving as a political mouthpiece on the platform of the coastal Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
 
Inke Onnen-Lübben studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven. Immediately afterwards she joined the Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH in 2006, where she had been playing a part in the development of the company as the person in charge for marketing & communication, and also marked the common concerns of the nine seaports in cooperation with the location managers, politics and industry.
 
Felix Jahn is a trained business economist. Following his trainee program with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) he joined the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Oldenburg, where he deepened his knowledge about maritime industry. Today he holds the position of the managing director in charge of transport and foreign trade of the Oldenburgische IHK.
