New Management team with MÁV Cargo
MÁV Cargo: Imre Kovács new Chief Executive Since 1 July 2009 the Hungarian MÁV Cargo railway company, which is affiliated to the RCA Group, is controlled by a new Management team. The General Meeting of MÁV Cargo appointed Zrt. Imre Kovács, the previous Deputy Chief Executive for Trade and Operation, the new Chief Executive. He gained experience in management positions in rail cargo transport during the last decades. At MÁV Cargo he is Chairman of the Executive Board for the Sales Section with immediate effect. Moreover, Karl Zöchmeister was appointed the new Deputy Chief Executive for Operations. The born Austrian is in charge of the Production Section as Executive Board Member. He had so far been working for Rail Cargo Austria AG, the parent company of MÁV Cargo, as the Manager of Transport Management and can fall back on many years of experience with the MÁV Group. László Nagy, recently appointed Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Board Member for Finances, completes the Management Board of MÁV Cargo. The former Chief Executive Dr. László Átol left the company on 30 June 2009. There will also be a change in the Supervisory Board of MÁV Cargo: likewise from 1 July 2009, Csaba Siklós will be a new member of the Supervisory Board, in addition to the present members – Dr. Balázs Czudar, Gábor Pál, Tibor Mózes, Róbert Zlati.
