New market appearance of GO! Express & Logistics in Austria

GO! Express & Logistics: the previous system partner is replaced by an own national company in Austria

The courier and express service GO! Express & Logistics puts the service in the Austrian market – which had been started in 1995 – on a new basis. On 1 October GO! Express & Logistics (Austria) GmbH will replace the cooperation with the previous system partner. The new national branch will operate the Austrian domestic network and international liner services. In addition to safeguarding and expanding the networks, its tasks include protecting the brand values and brand image as well as maintaining and developing GO!’s quality standards and service options.

GO! Austria is relying on three new system partners to guarantee operational efficiency in Austria. These partners are GO! Express & Logistics Austria Süd GmbH, which is responsible for Carinthia and Styria and is run by Rolf Hadolt, owner of Global Express ltd. and Graz-based i-log logistics solutions GmbH; GO! Express & Logistics Austria West GmbH, which – with Günter Bauer, founder of the eponymous Günter Bauer Spedition und Transportgesellschaft m.b.H., based in Siezenheim near Salzburg, as its shareholder – covers Upper Austria, Salzburg, Tyrol and Vorarlberg; and GO! Express & Logistics Vienna GmbH, which operates in Burgenland, Lower Austria and Vienna and is run jointly by Claus Wensauer, owner of GO Express & Logistics GmbH in Nuremberg, which maintains 14 GO! sites in Germany, and his daughter Nadine Wensauer. By establishing new national subsidiaries as part of its European strategy, GO! intends to expand its network in the medium term to include south-east Europe. This means that Vienna is an important hub. The Austrian national subsidiary is accompanied by a relaunch of the brand. The new slogan “Zeit ist alles” (“time is everything”), the revised logo and a new advertising campaign will also be used in Austria.

GO! Express & Logistics is one of the greatest group-independent networks in Europe for regional, national and international express services. The cooperative consists of 14 member companies with more than 100 GO! stations in Germany and Europe as well as worldwide partners. 1,400 employees and 3,000 couriers have lately moved an annual volume of 3.8 million shipments.
