New strategy and new managers with Panalpina Eastern Europe
Dr. Robert Brugger formulates a new target as Managing Director Eastern Europe of Panalpina
Yesterday evening Dr. Robert Brugger presented the new strategy and target definitions of the Panalpina Group in Eastern Europe to around 100 invited guests in Vienna. The core of his model approach is to enthrall customers with high-quality customised supply chain management solutions. With this concept and a new management team – including Andreas Nowak as Manager Marketing and Sales Eastern Europe, Christian Fanta as Area Head of Air Freight/Logistic Eastern Europe as well as Michael Schnitzler as Area Head of Ocean Freight Eastern Europe – the forwarding and logistics expert, who holds the position of Managing Director Panalpina Eastern Europe since 1 October 2010, wants to consolidate and expand the position of his employer in the Supply Chain Management segment as well as in the intercontinental air and sea freight forwarding business. Panalpina Eastern Europe has locations in 15 countries with around 500 employees, completed by partnerships. The Austrian national company has currently 300 employees at the locations in Vienna, Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz on the pay roll. Panalpina operates about 20,000 sq. m. of covered warehousing space in Austria.
