Quehenberger Logistics in Vienna: New staff member Thomas Eisler fills the function of the branch manager since 1 February 2013
A new staff member is filling an important leadership function at Quehenberger Logistics. Thomas Eisler (42) took over the management of the Vienna branch office (96 employees) on 1 February 2013. In this function, he is reporting directly to the management of Quehenberger Austria, and is responsible for the expansion and ongoing operations of all forwarding and logistics activities at the Vienna location.
Thomas Eisler studied IT and business informatics in Vienna, and has been active in the forwarding industry for 16 years. Most recently he was active for the management of an internationally operating forwarding company (editor’s note: DB Schenker Logistics Vienna), where he was in charge of warehouse logistics and supply chain management, among other things.
Quehenberger in Vienna is part of the leading nationwide groupage network in Austria, and serves as the hub for the Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. Furthermore, the Vienna location is the platform for transports to and from Eastern Europe, and also operates a competence centre for Russia and the CIS. Quehenberger in Vienna specialises in consumer goods logistics, retail logistics and white goods logistics.
