New worldwide oceanfreight leader at Ceva

Ceva Logistics announces Dominik Tichelkamp as Global Head of its sea freight business

 

These days the Ceva Logistics group has announced a personnel change. Dominik Tichelkamp was appointed Head of the oceanfreight business division effective from the beginning of 2011, where he will be charged with all activities in this segment of the leading global supply chain management company.

Oceanfreight is one of Ceva’s key areas and benefits from its above market growth. For his new position Dominik Tichelkamp brings with him a wealth of business and management expertise in the logistics industry. His career started in the shipping industry in Northern Germany, followed by 15 years within the VW Group where he held various positions within the international transport and logistics division. In his last position he acted as Chief Product and Procurement Officer for Panalpina.

Ceva Logistics is specialising in end-to-end design, implementation and operation of complex logistics solutions in the field of contract logistics and transport for multi national and local large and medium-sized companies. The enterprise employs 46,000 persons and operates a comprehensive global network with locations in more than 170 countries. The group announced a turnover at EUR 5.5 billion per 31 December 2009.
