Newcomer TCC to go to sea shortly
The Container Ship Company (TCC) launches trans pacific service and intends to serve Europe as well
A new provider will become active in the global liner shipping business. The private Danish operator – The Container Ship Company (TCC) – wants to open a new regular service from Asia to the U.S. West Coast next month. As the “Financial Times“ reports, the new service offers weekly departures from Taicang near Shanghai to Los Angeles and back. In the course of this year a string from Asia to Europe is to follow. The Container Ship Company (TCC) is an initiative of two shipping professionals. The company wants to run point-to-point services instead of complex networks. The pricing for container shipments shall have a clear structure and easily traceable.
