Oman Air launches nonstop-flights from/to Germany

“Salam aleikum Frankfurt and Munich“ with Oman Air 

Starting in autumn, Oman Air offers new nonstop flight connections from Germany to the Orient. Starting on 30 September 2009, scheduled flights from Frankfurt to Muscat will start their operation four times a week. And starting on 1 October 2009, Oman Air is offering three weekly flights between Munich and Muscat. In addition to Germany Oman Air will add Paris as another European destination in the winter flight schedule 2009/2010. All of the new routes will be operated with Airbus A330 aircrafts.

Oman Air is the national airline of the Oman sultanat. The enterprise was established in 1993 and is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. The target of the expansion is to establish Muscat Airport as a major international hub. Before the end of this year the fleet will be enlarged to 15 Boeing 737, two Airbus A330-200 and two Airbus A330-300, which will be joined by another three A330 jets until 2011.

Oman Air approaches the following destinations in the gulf region: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Dschiddah, Kuweit and Riad. Moreover there are ten destinations in India, namely Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Delhi, Lakhnau, Bangalore, Kozhikode and Jaipur. Furthermore the route network covers Bangkok, Chittagong, Kairo, Karachi, Beirut and Amman. As for Europe, Oman Air approaches London-Heathrow.
