Panalpina about to enter into Croatian market
The location-network of the Panalpina Group in south-eastern Europe is about to be expanded towards Croatia. „A seafreight office in Rijeka will start operating before January 1, 2009 at latest. A competence centre for airfreight forwarding in Zagreb is planned to follow three to four months afterwards“, Rolf Hauer, General Manager Panalpina Austria & CEE, disclosed in an interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine). The market-entry in Croatia is part of Panalpina’s expansion plans for south-eastern Europe. During the last weeks and months new locations were opened in Temesvar (Romania) and Ljubljana (Slovenia).
