Panalpina group expands to western China
New Panalpina office in Chonqging offer customers access to industrial centres at the Yangtze River
Panalpina group is expanding into western China. In Chonqging they opened a new location, which is completing their Wuhan Centralized Services Center and Chengdu office. From there the enterprise can offer its customers overland transport, air and sea cargo services based on pre- and oncarriage to international ocean ports via the Yangtze River. “This new location in Chongqing strengthens our role in the market. Panalpina has been operating in western China for ten years now and with the opening of this office, we are taking the next important step in our Go West strategy,” said Dr. Rudolf W Hug, Chairman of the Panalpina Group. Panalpina has entered the Chinese market about 35 years ago and has since then expanded its presence systematically.
