Toll Group announces acquisition of SAT Albatros (Dubai)

Australian Toll Group strengthens its position on the routes from Asia to Europe by taking over SAT Albatros

 

It is a specialist for Sea-Air services from Asia to Europe that the Toll Group has lately acquired. In a press release the strongly expanding transport and logistics group announces the takeover of the Dubai-based company SAT Albatros. This company with an annual turnover of USD 40 million was merged into the Buyer’s Global Forwarding-business segment effective 1 February. SAT Albatros is a leading provider of provider of Sea-Air Services from Asia to Europe, in particular to Germany.

The Toll Group’s core business is formed of integrated logistics services in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The enterprise headquartered in Melbourne operates around 3 million m² covered warehousing area at 1,100 locations in 55 countries. Their 40,000 employees generated lately an annual turnover at the amount of AU$ 6.9 billion (EUR 5.1 billion).
