Panalpina launches two new sea freight services for groupage cargo
New regular LCL services with Panalpina on the axis Belgium-USA and China-Poland Panalpina Group launches two new sea freight services as a response to the growing demand for secure and gapless intercontinental door-to-door operations, which has been continuously rising since 2009. The subsidiary Pantainer Express Line, being a Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC), has expanded the service portfolio between continental Europe and the Gulf of Mexico by a LCL service with weekly guaranteed departures from Antwerp to Houston. NYK Line acts as carrier partner. The transport time from port to port is 18 days. Panalpina is also cooperating with NYK Line in a second, newly established LCL service with guaranteed departure times from Ningbo at the Chinese east coast to Wroclaw in the south-west of Poland. The travel time is 26 days. The new service completes the existing groupage cargo service between Shanghai and Wroclaw.
