Panalpina supports Toshiba in its business with Russia
Hightech enterprise Toshiba puts overland transport from Germany to Moscow into the hands of the Panalpina organisation
Toshiba has selected Panalpina to handle its overland business ex Regensburg, Germany, to Moscow from January 2011. Regensburg is a location of one of the company’s European distribution centres. The agreement covers international transportations and customs clearance as well as local cross-docking and distribution services. The initial freight volume is approximately 200 truck loads ex Regensburg with cross-docking activities for 11,000 pallets including local distribution to more than ten locations in Russia. Toshiba is an international leading provider of high tech products. The company is a diversified manufacturer and marketer of advanced electronic and electrical products spanning information and communications systems, digital consumer products, electronic devices and components, power systems, including nuclear energy, industrial and social infrastructure systems as well as home appliances.
