Patrick Fasthuber is the new ‚leader’ of Gefco in St. Valentin

Branch manager Patrick Fasthuber shall further expand the Overland segment of the logistic service providre Gefco Austria

As of mid-October 2014 Patrick Fasthuber took over the management of the Gefco branch in St. Valentin, Lower Austria. The 39 year old Upper Austrian is succeeding Harald Erlicher in this function.

Operative business of the branch in St. Valentin, where a total staff of 17 is employed, consists of services in the segments warehousing, sequencing, picking and just-in-time-delivery. The major customers of the branch include the agricultural machinery producer Case New Holland (CNH), for whom Gefco Austria has developed a flexible logistics concept, to deliver goods just in time and on demand, and voestalpine. With their designated truck fleet Gefco in St. Valentin serves many customers in Austria and internationally.

Patrick Fasthuber has many years of experience in the logistics industry which he brings for his new position. His previous professional stations include among others responisbility for national distribution of all products and services of Panalpina GmbH in Austria, management of logistics and supply chain management at Lorenz Shoe Group AG and management of logistics and sales of Zentrasport Österreich.

The Overland segment is a core competence of the company, which we want to expand at our branch in St. Valentin“, says Peter Vanek, managing director Gefco Austria. Gefco operates six branches in Austria and employs about 70 persons.
