Personnel changes with the change of the month at DB Schenker

Stoll to head intermodal activities of DB Schenker Logistics; Board Member Kluger leaves the enterprise
 
With the change of the months, DB Schenker Logistics made the announcment of some personal changes. As of August 1, Christian Stoll is heading the intermodal activities of DB Schenker Logistics. In his new function as Head of Intermodal at the Schenker AG headquarters in Essen, Stoll will be in charge of efficiently linking the different modes of transport, in particular the product DB SCHENKERhangartner. This offering provides customers from industry and trade the combination of trucking and rail services from a single source. Trucks handle pre-carriage and onward carriage, while trains handle cargo on long distances in unaccompanied combined transport. 40 years old Stoll was previously responsible for the European development of the medium-sized freight forwarding group Transco Süd Internationale Spedition GmbH. His predecessor at DB Schenker, Patrick Zilles, has left the company at his own request.
 
Almost simultaneously – by the end of July – Michael A. Kluger, member of the Management Board of Schenker Deutschland AG, announced his resignment from the Management Board as of July 31, 2012 in order to perform tasks outside of DB Schenker Logistics. Since April 2009 Mr. Kluger was responsible for Contract Logistics/SCM at Schenker Deutschland AG, Germany and in the Region Europe Central within the business unit DB Schenker Logistics.
