Poor economic situation forces FTL Logistik into insolvency

Insolvent FTL Logistik Speditions GmbH from Hallein strives for debt relief in the form of a restructuring plan

On February 13 the bankruptcy proceedings were opened about the assets and liabilities of the FTL Logistik Speditions GmbH (Hallein) at the regional court Landesgericht Salzburg by the company’s own application. The insolvency affects six employees and 75 creditors. Assets amount to EUR 32,800, while liabilities amount to EUR 171,300, as informs the association for the protection of creditors KSV 1870. The indebted company is striving for debt relief in the form of a restructuring plan, with the legal minimum quota of 20 per cent in accordance with the liquidator’s activities.

Due to the bad economic situation only some of the major orders in prospect were placed with the company, as the management explains the reason for the insolvency. “Despite the operating results were rising continuously from May to December 2013, the necessary growth in turnover could not be reached as the indebted company worked with equity capital exclusively,” KSV 1870 informs about details.
