Port of Koper appointed Gregor Veselko as new president
Personnel change within Management of Luka Koper At its last session the Supervisory Board of Luka Koper d.d. appointed Gregor Veselko as a president of the Luka Koper Management Board, effective as of 16th June 2009. In this function he is the successor of Mr. Robert Časar and Mr. Aldo Babič. In addition to President Gregor Veselko, PhD, Marjan Babič, MSc and Boris Marzi, Msc are members of the Management Board. Born in 1974 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Veselko followed a comprehensive course of studies in the fields of economics, management and transport logistics in Slovenia and Antwerp. In October 1999 he gained employment as an independent adviser at Intereuropa d.d., and continued as a maritime trade manager, regional manager and specialist-expert, prior to his appointment to the Management Board as Executive Director in March 2006.
