Qatar Airways approaching Budapest and Bucharest

Worldwide expansion of Qatar Airways by introducing destinations in Central and Southeastern Europe

 

Qatar Airways is continuously processing the expansion of its global route network. Having opened the route from Doha to Nice on 24 November the Arabian airline is taking final preparations to establish further connections to Europe. Budapest and Bucharest will be served on a regular basis from Doha starting on 17 January 2011. The premiere flight on the route to Brussels will start on 31 January. On 6 March the course to Stuttgart will be launched. The Syrian city Aleppo will be integrated into the flight schedule from 6 April 2011 as the 100th destination worldwide.

Qatar Airways has transported around 14 million passengers in the business year 2009/10. The airline will increase its fleet to 120 aircrafts before 2013, and thus significantly raise the current number of 93 planes. In Austria Qatar Airways operates daily flight connections from Vienna to Doha.
