Quehenberger Logistics takes steps in Austria to enhance its solutions spectrum and to expand its portfolio

Quehenberger Logistics Austria is preparing to expand its service portfolio in the segment of contract logistics. A team of specialists with many new members is working on innovative concepts at the company headquarters. In parallel there are ongoing discussions with potential customers that are partly in an advanced stadium. „In spring 2011 we will start tackling the first new projects“, Managing Director Christian Braunstein designs a time schedule.

In April 2010 the Quehenberger Logistics brand has celebrated its remake in Austria Österreich – following an absence of almost two years. The enterprise has around 500 employees at 15 national locations. Managing Director Christian Braunstein expects a turnover of about EUR 140 million for 2010. In addition to services in the field of national and international network forwarding with additional service specifications and regional special solutions, FTL/LTL transport in Europa as well as service concepts in the fields of warehousing/distribution and contract logistics form the core business. The therefore developed systems work with strong IT support.
