Quelle Austria uses logistic services of tectraxx

Specialist for high-tech logistics tectraxx organises delivery of big white and brown electrical goods for Quelle Austria

The Gebrüder Weiss high tech products segment acting under the brand name tectraxx attends to a new major customer. Since the start of the year the company supports the mail-order company Quelle with delivery of big devices of the electronic white and brown goods segment. The agreement includes additional, optional at-site services.

The ordered goods is daily collected at the Quelle logistics warehouse in Salzburg/Bergheim and distributed to the tectraxx stations in Austria. This allows delivery throughout the country within 24 hours. Delivery is principally carried out after a phone call at the end customer, with the own fleet of tectraxx. Goods recipients can order an assembly and connecting service at delivery. In this case tectraxx staff cares for unpacking, assembly, connection and put into operation including a function check-up of the device.

„It has been a successful start for us. Quelle has brought us a great volume in the first month already. The vehicle fleet was already expanded to be able to handle the volume increases adequately“, Dragan Djenadic, Key Account Manager tectraxx, comments the start of this business.

tectraxx posted an operative turnover of EUR 14 million in the business year 2010. In Wiener Neudorf, Vienna-Strebersdorf, Graz, Klagenfurt, Hall, Pasching, Linz, Salzburg and Pöchlarn they have 165 staff and technicians.

Quelle, Universal and Otto are brands of the Otto Group. These are run under the umbrella of UNITO Versand & Dienstleistungen GmbH in Austria. At four locations in Austria (Graz, Salzburg, Linz, Bergheim) 700 employees (including subcontract workers and service workers) are at work for these three brands.
