RCA and Cretschmar Espanola start groupage partnership
Rail Cargo Austria presents new solutions for Spain traffic The European network of the business unit BEX Logistik of Rail Cargo Austria (RCA) is reinforced in the form of a partnership with a reputable provider of transport and logistics services in Spain. The cargo transport division of the Austrian railway company ÖBB starts cooperating with the L. W. Cretschmar Espanola-company. The new partner operates a comprehensive network for general cargo transports in Spain, based on locations in Madrid (headquarters), Barcelona, Irùn, Alicante, Sevilla and Valencia. L. W. Cretschmar Espanola is a subsidiary of CretschmarCargo in Düsseldorf (Germany). The international forwarding and logistics group comprises four subsidiaries with 12 locations in Germany and Spain. With more than 800 employees the company handled around 2.2 million consignments with a total weight of 1.9 million tons in 2008.
