RCA Intermodal relocates branch in Wels

Operator of Rail Cargo Austria AG puts on a new basis disposition and handling of container trains from/to Hamburg and Bremerhaven
 
Relocating their branch in Wels (Upper Austria), Rail Cargo Austria is making a major decision in setting the course for intermodal transport. “To be able to act as a sustainable partner for our customers, we will relocate our branch in Wels“, informs Claus Hansen, head of operations. In order to organise the cooperation more efficient and customer-oriented, some of the employees from Wels will be working at the terminal in Enns and at the location in Salzburg.
 
From August 1, 2013, Salzburg advances with RCA Intermodal into a new hub for handling and disposition of import trains departing from the north ports Hamburg/Bremerhaven to the terminal in Linz. Disposition and handling of export trains departing from the terminal in Linz to the north ports in Hamburg/Bremerhaven will take place at the terminal in Enns.
