Rearrangement of Central Ukrainian services by Austrian Airlines

Austrian Airlines replaces Dnepropetrovsk airport with Zaporozhye as the destination in Central Ukraine

The renovation of the runway at Dnepropetrovsk airport forces Austrian Airlines to temporarily rearrange their liner service from Vienna to Central Ukraine. Since 1 May the aircrafts land at the Zaporozhye airport, which is about 70-kilometres away from Dnepropetrovsk. Alternatively, passengers will also be offered services to Kharkiv or Donetsk. “The measure means it will still be possible to provide daily flights to this region”, the airline announces in a press release.

Flight number OS 1275 from Vienna to Zaporozhye takes off daily at VIE at 10:40 am with a scheduled arrival at 1:55 pm in Ukraine. In the opposite direction the machine starts its return flight from Zaporozhye at 2:50 pm, and lands in Vienna at 4:25 pm. However this does not affect Austrian flights from/to Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv, L‘viv and Odessa.
