Record-breaking packing performance of Pawel group

Pawel packing & logistics has packed and stowed in containers more than 200,000 motors on behalf of the Opel plant in Vienna:

The economic uptrend of the automotive industry helps Pawel packing & logistics GmbH to fly high. The by its own account leading packing logistician for air, sea and overland transport in Austria handled a record volume on behalf of its customer Opel Wien last year. They packed and stowed in containers more than 200,000 motors, which is double as much as originally planned. On peak days the team handled up to 1,500 motors in 2-shift operation. The enterprise was awarded the “Staatspreis für vorbildliche Verpackung“ (state prize for packing) for developing the packing solution.

Established in 1898, Pawel packing & logistics offers integrated packing logistics systems for customers from all business sectors. Since 2006 the family company has two locations in eastern Europe, to be closer at the production sites of their customers. The Pawel group has currently about 75 employees in Vienna, Graz, Brno (Czech Republic) and Zlate Moravce (Slovakia).
