Reichhart Logistik Austria attends to a new major contract

Magna Steyr buys exhaust gas systems for Mini Countryman „just in sequence“ from Reichhart Logistik Austria

Reichhart Logistik Austria GmbH has recently won a new major order. At its site in Graz the company produces exhaust gas systems for the new Mini Countryman and delivers them in sequence to Magna Steyr.  The annual volume amounts up to 115,000 units.

Reichhart Logistik Austria was established in 2003. The enterprise operates a logistics centre for final assembly and sequencing of OE delivery parts at its location in Graz close to the Magna Steyr plant. Four fully automatic welding robots produce complete exhaust gas systems from single components. Finally they pass the final assembly and order-picking department. The last sequential assembly order is transmitted by the customer via electronic data transfer to the logistics centre.

In tight cooperation with the German parent company the logistics service provider from Graz provides logistic solutions along the full supply chain of the customers. The service range comprises solutions in the field of transport and contract logistics. About 400 employees at 14 locations in Germany, Austria and France generated a turnover of EUR 47.6 million in 2009.
