Reorganisation of overland traffic with Kuehne + Nagel
Kuehne + Nagel combined overland and distribution business As of 1 January 2010 the overland business unit of Kuehne + Nagel is to be restructured. Regarding the targeted expansion of the European market appearance and the optimisation of operating synergies national and international overland traffic is to be combined with distribution activities from the contract logistics segment. Dirk Reich will assume responsibility of the new resort. The previous Manager of overland traffic, Xavier Urbain, will terminate his operational responsibility with Kuehne + Nagel International AG on 31 December, 2009, and will continue to support the company on a consultancy basis.
