Rhenus Group consolidates its presence in Central Asia. Since recently the enterprise has a subsidiary in Kazakhstan. The newly established “TOO Rhenus Logistics“ operates an office in Almaty. The activities are focussing on the fields of international transportations, customs, interim storage and distribution. In addition to truck transportations also container transports on the railway and project handling shall be added to the portfolio on the short term. Until now Rhenus had only been presented in Kazakhstan with an office of its subsidiary Maxx Intermodal Systems, a specialist for container traffics.

“Kazakhstan has a big potential. There are many enterprises with German holdings in this country that are in need of logistics services on a high level. Our local presence enables us to directly meet these requirements“, Olaf Metzger, Managing Director of the OOO Revival Express Moscow, said about the opening of the office in Almaty.
