More Austria trains with intermodal operator TFG Transfracht

TFG Transfracht launches expanded train concept between Hamburg/Bremerhaven and Salzburg

TFG Transfracht offers an enlarged portfolio for customers who need services in seaport hinterland transport from and to Austria. Since 1 February the enterprise in the economically strong region Salzburg operates one more train rotation from and to the German seaports Hamburg and Bremerhaven. Apart from that two more export trains will be set up. Moreover, TFG Transfracht and their partner Partner CTS (Container Terminal Salzburg) offer a large empty containers depot in Salzburg.

„This allows us to meet the stronger demand for export and to guarantee an efficient train concept on five days a week with our current offer. The offer is completed by departures and arrivals on weekends at the locations Enns and Vienna“, Oswin Stummvoll, Regional Manager Austria TFG Transfracht, promotes the program.

TFG Transfracht covers the urban centres in Salzburg Land and in the neighbouring area of south-eastern Bavaria with four rotations and two one way trains for export per week. The complete offer in Austria comprises now 26 trains per week.
