Rostock Port renews contract with managing director U. Bauermeister

Dr. Ulrich Bauermeister will keep the position of the managing director of Hafen-Entwicklungsgesellschaft Rostock mbH until the end of 2014
 
The supervisory board of Hafen-Entwicklungsgesellschaft Rostock mbH renewed the contract with managing director Ulrich Bauermeister fort wo more years, valid until the end of 2014. Götz Kreuzer, chairman of the supervisory board of Hafen-Entwicklungsgesellschaft Rostock mbH, signed the agreement in the meeting of the supervisory board on 12 December in the seaport.
 
Rostock is Germany’s only deepwater and universal port in the Baltic Sea. The ferry and roro-traffic of about 120 weekly departures, and transhipment of general, bulk and liquid cargo are the pillars of the service portfolio. On the 11 kilometres quay 47 ship berths are available. In 2011 about 22.3 million tonnes of freight passed the quay walls.
