Safi Airways launches new regular service from Frankfurt to Kabul

Safi Airways is to open a non-stop-flight from Frankfurt to Kabul. As of June 15, the private international airline from Afghanistan is offering three weekly flights on its first intercontinental route. The services will start on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:15 p.m. in Frankfurt. The scheduled arrival in Kabul is 6 a.m. next day. The service deploys a Boeing 767-200ER with a maximum freight capacity of 10 tons. According to a press release it was the only airline in Afghanistan to comply with the European safety standards.  

Safi Airways with headquarters in Kabul (IATA-code: 4Q) was established in 2006. The administrative office is located in Dubai. The airline offers services in the fields of liner transport, charter and cargo. The fleet is purely consisting of Boeing aircrafts and serves the destinations Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Sharjah as well as Kabul, Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sherif in Afghanistan.
