Salzburg Airport handled more air freight in 2009

Road Feeder Services marked air freight business at Salzburg Airport 
 

Salzburg is different! The airport of Mozart’s city registered a positive development in air freight traffic in 2009. The handled freight volumes, including truck road feeder services has risen 4.9 per cent compared to 2008, to 8,537 tonnes. In a press release the Airport Salzburg Management considers this as a very pleasing development.

The driving force of the air freight transport at Salzburg Airport in the reporting period was the truck road feeder service. They moved 8,362 tons, which is 5.8 per cent more than in 2008. The flown volumes declined 25.7 per cent to 174.2 tons.
