Schneckenreither forwarding agency starts expanding its headquarters

Having enhanced the branch operations in Graz the international forwarding company Schneckenreither is about to tackle a new investment.

They recently turned the first sod for the expansion of the facility at their headquarters in Ansfelden. According to managing director Alfred Schneckenreither the headquarters is to be enhanced by an undergroud parking with 63 parkings, a 2.000 m²-warehouse at ramp height with six docking gates, a manipulation zone for loading and unloading as well as 970 m² office area. The start of operation of the new hall is scheduled for September 2011.

Through the acquisition of an object in Seiersberg near Graz the Schneckenreither branch in Graz was enlarged by 12,187m² floor space and 5,000 m² hall and office space. The site in Seiersberg as well as the new warehouse in Ansfelden can be rented (exhibition rooms, sales areas, storage, office etc.).

Schneckenreither is an owner-managed family enterprise that offers integrated logistics solutions (overland transport, parcel logistics, air/sea freight and warehousing logistics). Apart from the headquarters in Ansfelden the company’s network includes also own locations in Wiener Neudorf, St. Pölten, Klagenfurt, Graz, Salzburg, Budapest and Prague as well as sites in Linz, Wels and Marchtrenk. As a competence centre of forwarding services the enterprise is affiliated to a private company group with more than 400 employees at 16 locations in Central Europe. The fleet of the corporate group Schneckenreither consists of about 150 low-emission trucks and 100 swap bodies. The warehousing logistics division is based on more than 55,000 m² hall area.
