South Africa premiere for ACG Air Cargo Germany

Air Cargo Germany serves Hahn-Johannesburg route twice weekly with immediate effect

ACG Air Cargo Germany GmbH added a new south- and northbound flight to its intercontinental route network. Last weekend the O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg was integrated into the flight schedule of the private German airline. A Boeing 747-400F will serve the Southafrican destination twice weekly (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) departing from the Hahn airport. Outbound the flight goes via Tripoli (technical stop). The return flight has a stop over at Kenya’s capital Nairobi to load flowers and other fresh goods for European recipients.

“Thanks to a number of binding blocked space agreements numerous logistics providers have signed, the payload of our Johannesburg services will be significant over a foreseeable period of time,” emphasizes CEO Michael Bock. This accounts for both flights, south- and northbound hence the entire African roundtrip. The remaining rest capacity will be marketed by Frankfurt-based GSA Sky Reps Aviation Services GmbH.

As CEO Bock further points out in a press release, the newly offered Africa flights will have no influence on the current network or schedule of ACG Air Cargo Germany GmbH. Destinations in Near East, Central Asia, Far East, and India will be served as regularly as before.
