Sparkling logistics by Dachser Austria for Moët Hennessy

Worldwide market leader for luxury spirits Moët Hennessy uses logistics solutions of Dachser’s location in Hörsching since recently
 
Dachser Austria took over a sparkling logistics business. Since the start of May Moët Hennessy’s products for Austria are handled at the forwarder’s location in Hörsching/Linz. In addition to classic warehousing and transport activities, Dachser provides also value added services such as display assembly and event support to the customer from the luxury goods industry.
 
Up to 1,200 pallets with high quality products such as Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon and Veuve Cliquot champaign, but also Hennessy cognac, Glenmorangie& Ardbeg whisky, Belvedere vodka, selected vines and related Moët Hennessy advertising material are stored in Dachser’s warehouse in Pasching, a few kilometres away from the location in Hörsching. From there the spirits are delivered to gastronomers and retailers throughout Austria.
 
This new business of Dachser Austria is the renewal of an existing partnership under changed conditions. So far distribution to Austria had been organised via Dachser’s location in Nuremberg. To further strengthen the presence in the market and optimise transport times, Moët Hennessy has now decided to entrust Dachser Austria with the Austrian part of the order volume.
