With immediate effect Thomas Niederer holds the function of Global Head of Road and Rail. The background of this measure is Panalpina’s striving for further boosting their products in Europe and the Near East. “Thanks to previous engagements at Danzas and DHL Express Thomas Niederer brings vast experience in European trucking. He joined ABX Logistics as General Manager European Road and later moved to Kuehne + Nagel as Vice President Groupage Network”, as Panalpina announces in a press release. In his new position Thomas Niederer is responsible for the end-to-end handling and development of the road and rail sub-products, ensuring optimal procurement of capacity, subcontractor management.
