Time Shuttle sets mile stone in high value logistics

Pan-European operating high value logistics specialist Time Shuttle was certified according to TSR 1 standard of TAPA

A new era regarding quality, process stability and security for transport and logistics services in the high value shipments segment has begun with Time Shuttle GmbH (Aachen). On 11 January 2012 Time Shuttle GmbH was certified with TSR 1. Within the TAPA-organisation they called this event a “historic moment”! Time Shuttle is the first transport and logistics service provider certified with the TSR 1 within EMEA. TSR stands for Truck Security Requirements.

At the implementation of and in compliance with the high security requirements to be observed Time Shuttle was supported by the Franz Wirtz GmbH. With this service provider they have a partnership for many years. Also the company Wirtz passed the first TTSP (TAPA TSR Service Partner) compliance test worldwide and has also received the confirmation as securest service provider for TSR certified companies and related transports.

With this cooperation Time Shuttle GmbH currently has 13 certified high-security vehicles and two more vehicles from its own fleet. Successively 25 additional vehicles can be added to the portfolio and be certified. This will be adapted according to demand. „We are convinced that we will get the corresponding feedback of our customers during the next few weeks. Our market situation can only improve due to this success!” said Walter Eickels, managing director of Time Shuttle GmbH.

Since its establishment in 1993 Time Shuttle has been specialising in the transport of time-critical, theft-prone products. The enterprise offers high-end security solutions for pan-European LTL/FTL-transportations on the road. Founding the subsidiary Time Shuttle d.o.o. Zagreb (2003) and a holding in the forwarding network Lando GmbH (2007), which specialises in Eastern Europe transport, the operating range was expanded to growth regions. With 70 employees Time Shuttle transports more than 50,000 high-value cargo shipments per year.
