TNT Innight supplies technicians of A1 Telekom Austria

Service technicians of A1 Telekom Austria in south-eastern Austria receive supply by TNT Innight Austria‘s overnight express:

TNT Innight Austria has recently reached the final expansion stage of an ambitious project of a new customer. With immediate effect the enterprise supplies more than 200 customer service technicians of A1 Telekom Austria in the regions Carinthia, Styria and eastern Tyrol over night with spare parts, electronic devices and consumables on a daily basis. A basis requirement of the client was a gapless tracing of shipments and the shortest possible reaction in the case of delays or obstacles for delivery.

„We are proud about having contributed to this complex and professional logistics project of A1 Telekom Austria AG and of not only having met the high requirements of our client concerning adherence to delivery dates and quality, but done better than this“, TNT Innight general manager Thomas Bauer draws a balance.

In this project, it was for the first time that the newly developed TNT Innight boxes with a black and orange corporate design are used. They allow for the transport of shipments weighing 15 to 50 kilograms – according to the size of the box. The multi-way transport packages (MTV) consist a 100 per cent of recycled granules, made from used boxes. The use of multi-way boxes, compared to cardboard packaging and wood boxes, causes less environmental pollutants such as green house gas emissions, ozone and others.

TNT Innight is a specialist for overnight delivery of time-sensitive shipments. The subsidiary of the Dutch TNT Express group has about 50 employees and handles more than 600,000 consignments per year.
