Transnautic wins Cyprus Airways in France

Transnautic Aero France – the recently-launched French subsidiary of Frankfurt-based Transnautic Aero GmbH – has been appointed as GSSA for Cyprus Airways throughout France.

Cyprus Airways operates daily flights from Paris CDG to Larnaca, using A330 and A320 aircraft. In addition it serves Thessaloniki twice weekly.

Transnautic France Manager Emma Deleau sold Cyprus Airways’ capacity for 6 years in her previous employment with its former GSA in France. Says Emma: “Cyprus Airways is a very highly-respected airline, and I am very pleased to be working with them again.

“The airline enjoys a dominant share of its home market, and so we want to develop transhipment traffic over its hub to the Middle East. Although most of these destinations suffer from fierce competition, we are confident that Cyprus Airways’ excellent reputation will enable us to win business.”

Transnautic Aero France was launched in 2006, and represents Aeroflot Cargo, Aerosur, Air Astana, Air Moldova, Mahan Air, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Rossiya, Siberia Airlines and Transaero Airlines. It is the exclusive French member of the EGSAC network of independent GSSA companies, which has 60 bases in 30 countries.
